"Umrzeć - tego się nie robi kotu" (Dying--you wouldn't do that to a cat.) - Wisława Szymborska, Polish poet, who received the Nobel Prize in 1996.Most of us know how it feels to lose our beloved pet. But we'll never find out what does the pet feel, when the master's gone forever...
Szymborska's poem "Cat in an empty apartment" can give us some idea, as it gave me the idea to draw that one.

What a sad picture.
When seeing it and then reading the description, I could see the depression in the drawing.
I knew a cat that was always in its owner's bedroom most the time after he passed away. So I am sure pets do miss their owners when they pass on.

I heard a story about a dog who lives besides his master's grave.. I thought it was quite touching, the same as this deviation

biedne...ale bratowa się nimi zajmuje, więc i tak nie mają źle a ponoć już jakoś zapomniały, bawią się.. w sumie chyba z miesiąc mają.
