Description Pokos, commonly known as flying salamenders, are a large group of sluggish, crow-sized amphibians endemic to Larkhore.

Abundant and easy to catch, they are the staple meat in many parts of Laarkhor. The list of local poko-based dishes is endless. Here are some of the most popular:

- Royal grilled poko on skewers
Cubes of poko are combined with chunks of pineapple and cherry mangoes, generously spiked with rum and barbecued.

- Poko blue fondue
Thin slices of poko wings and tails are wrapped around mini nosegay of coriander and cooked together in a mixture of broth and coconut milk.

- Poko giant spring roll
The animal is stuffed with an assortment of vegetables and mushrooms, then wrapped in its own wings and fried in hot oil. It is the traditional meal for two at bat-elf wedding dinners.

Oh I remember, back then I was trying to teach friends how to prepare fresh spring rolls, especially the bit about wrapping up with a rice paper, it's always epic! ^^

Btw, I've recently watched the musical les misΓ©rables (RIP my 6€), I don't recall the novel was that tedious.

Nice, do these creatures fly or simply glide?

They mostly glide but under intense stress, they can perform sustained flight on a short distance. ^^

well, as you might know, with sufficient thrust, also pigs fly just fine... just kidding... these ones look very nice.

Wow, cute creatures! I really like the bright colors and unique, but familiar looks they have. I really like the feelers or feeler-equivilants, as well.

I really want to eat one, now. Although not the bottom one, he looks more like a pet. Great design!

The only cute one I can remember is the little lizard that does the helicopter thing. The others creatures had interesting designs but were rather ewwww.

hmmm nice! I'd be scared if I saw something like that in real life XD

The top one looks more like a froggy to me though, maybe that's just because it's a side view X3 Nonetheless, lovely designs!

I'd love to find them in real life, I'm badly in need of free meat easy to catch for my cooking experimentations.
