Wow! Is the force of gravity lighter in Laarkhor? How does a four-wing stay up in the air when they anchor at night? Or do they dangle like bats in that instance?

TBH, I haven't given much thought about it, my initial idea was that the species sleeps on the wings at high altitude like some swift species do, but with the additional possibility to anchor themselves at trees in stormy weather to not get drifted too far away. That would imply that four-wings sleeps at low altitude/tree level only in windy conditions that would be sufficient to make them stay in the air like kites. ^^

Intresting concept well executed looks alien and familiar at the same time. Only thing that strikes me odd is the approach of let them reproduse like mararsupial mammals as young birds need space to train their fly muscles. A kiwi like approach might fit better like the kiwi "glues" one huge egg in a tree and the young brid hatches fully develeoped ready to fly and care for itself.

Thanks, that's an interesting idea although I think that producing and bearing (until laying) a huge egg would be quite an impediment for any flying creature. As for training their fly muscles, just like with marsupials, the youngs, at a latter stage of development, can leave and get back into the pouch at will so I did imagine them learning to fly while attached to their parents by their erectile wattles.

This is very awe inspiring, I really love the bird's concept, plus your execution especially with color is just remarkable.

Wow~! It is hard to find creative creature ideas, most just look like domestic versions of rare animals, but this is quite unique! I love it! Keep up the original work.
