bla bla bla, yada yada yada...that being said... cred to ~kevm for the lineart (or rather, drawing). its a nice piece, really. unfortunately it was a little small so i couldnt go into detail a lot. i hope you will like it anyway.
yet again, i used photographic reference for the background, just to get some idea of what i wanted it to look like. i imagined the two of them standing in a creek, so i think it turned rather well. i played around with it a bit, gave it some texture and voilà!
anyway, i'd like to see some comments on this. hope u guys like it!

whoa. amazing coloring. i love how Kisame's sword's pierced into the ground.
I would like to point that when i look at their feet, it looks like they're sortof touching the ground but not the rocky ground.

I think that most of the cloaks could probably use a little more shading/highlighting. Except for Kisame's collar, that looks really well done.
The background is really nice and works well with the image.
Well it's still pretty damn good.

I have to admit I dont like it too much. The background looks somehow really strange...maybe its the colors I dont know. Same for the shading...somehow I dont like it on this picture except Kisamaes face which looks awesome, Samehameda looks nice too

i think my shading is rather consistent throughout my works, just that i used a little more contrast for this one, for bringing out the edges of their cloaks a little more. well, maybe i'll fix it up...
