Description Sunset over Lake Wailes last Christmas. I was testing out a new camera, but I never really got around to looking at the files until now. I am a little behind I guess.

excellent shot. Congratulations!
And yes, thinking is exhausting... and you never know where you'll get... sometimes so low.

Beautiful. It gave my silly heart a thrill, seeing a local area as the title of a deviation, when sorting through the newest ones I subscribe to!

Love the colors

"silly heart a thrill" is a pretty funny way to say that, but yeah, i hear you. it is cool to see a new look on a familiar place sometimes.

it helps you understand how other people see it.

yeah, i metered for the center shot first so i didnt blow it out, and then as i moved the pano shots further out they became more and more underexposed. it is hard to meter a multishot pano like this without screwing something up, since when you dont have that whole computerized center weighted metering doing all the work, you actually have to think a little, and on this one i guess i forgot about that.

yeah man i understand the technical difficulty, i could also see the brightest part wasnt blown out which gave a great contrast, but couldnt get passed the rest being to dark to appreciate.
