LOVE THESE FILMS! The first is the best but just loved the Creeper design. Especially in the early sequences when it looks as if he is wearing a hat and trench coat. Great job my friend!!!!

I agree and the first film got decent reviews if I recall correctly. The 1st is almost a classic creature flick. Besides the gore it feels like something I could have watched on Creature Feature back in the late seventies and early eighties.

I remember that a lot of moviegoers weren't happy, with the first ones sudden shift from what seemed like Texas chainsaw territory ,
into full blown demon with wings flapping about
it made more sense in the sequel , though iit's hard to imagine him driving a truck with his big clawed eagles feet!

HAH! Never even thought of that truck driving trouble. I tend to overlook stuff like that for some reason. Overall I just love both films and should pick them up at some point.

They're still supposed to be making the 3rd one but it's been delayed for eleven years

looking at the wikipedia page ,
the story has been changed from 23 years on from the last one , to inbetween films 1 and 2
the actress from the first one is back
and apparently filming is complete on it!
but i've heard that before
it doesn't look like Francis ford coppola has anything to do with this one [ He produced the first 2}

I actually didn't know Coppola produced the first two and odd there are still whispers of a third. But look how long the Lost Boys Sequel took and only to have the film turn out horribly. The first is a guilty pleasure for me since my teen years.

Apparently the third film is finished and will be out late this year!!!??
There's talk of a 4th one as well , which will be set 20 odd years on when the creeper returns and the original sister from the first one has to save her son from him.
The third finished filming not so long ago , which suggests it relied on mostly practical effects and little cgi ,post production
so he won't be flying as much!
I've a feeling the new one will be alright , as it's the same writer/director as the others
could be a bit cheapo and straight to dvd though

All I can say is wow. I was not expecting that news. Cannot wait as it is the same writer/director. But yeah we can expect some cutbacks LOL. Maybe the series will end up like Phantasm with the story continuing but the actors getting older. Still love that wonky series as well.
