Happy New Year's! This picture has nothing to do with that, but it is so there you go. Anyhow here's a painting! The dress is loosely Elizabethan, though for some reason I got really into cloth goiters on the shoulders and then was too timid with the sleeves. That picture should have been 2/3rds furry Elizabethan sleeves. Maybe next year!
But look, instead of placidly gazing at an animal she's registering a gentle emotion in a different direction! Progress!
