SUMMARY: My boy got wings! I have been waiting for this episode! And of course I could not contain myself but draw something quickly! We have not had a good Sparity episode in a while! Also does this mean that Spike is mature now? Cause this was pretty much puberty for him. God, loved this episode!

Yup. They cleared up some of the aspects of the dragon life cycle in today's episode. That growth spurt he did back in Season Two was apparently just a dragon disorder; shedding his scales and growing wings is part of the onset of dragon puberty, more or less.
