I had promised a friend i would catsit for her. The night before a massive snowstorm hit the area. What should have taken 20 min. to drive took an hour on horrible roads. Lots of snow and wicked winds. I took this photo from inside my car through the windshield.Related content

It was like that here on Monday morning. I couldn't see across the yard, much less drive in it. You are a wonderful friend to brave those roads

Thanks. It's still snowing here. There have been sooooo many pileups on the highways, it's just nuts. When those large semitrucks spin out, with visibility so low, no one behind him can stop quick enough and slide on the snow as well. Pretty messy.

It hasn't snowed since Monday, but the temperatures are still below 0*. I think we're due for more this weekend. I can hardly wait... I hope you stay safe on those highways.
