Description

Louis Perrault, Duke of Caenesse. Called β€œThe Avenging Son” by his contemporaries, Louis Perrault is one of the great vassals of House Williamson of The Kingdom of Aquitaine. He is both current head of House Perrault and the reigning Duke of Caenesse. Amongst the great families of Aquitainian Nobility, The House of Perrault is most regarded for its military traditions. Just like all his ancestors before him, Louis Perrault is both a formidable warrior and one of the finest military strategists amongst the great lords of The Kingdom of Aquitaine. He is regarded by many to be the mightiest general in the kingdom after Prince Tancred Williamson, Duc de Chambord, or brother to William XXI, King of Aquitaine and uncle to Magnus Williamson, Dauphin de Viennois.

Impressive work ^^ thus far this is the best one. Details, design, all is perfect here. Armour is almost historically accurate. For most part it's late XV century heavy plate

I am rather honoured you consider it to be such! Though in all frankness, my works of art are all for a low-fantasy setting of my original creation, so historical accuracy is not, strictly speaking, "overemphasized" concerning my more elaborate designs. But thanks again for your generous compliments!

I can see that low fantasy is the framework you try to work with, that's why I had to emphasize realism of this particular piece. I'm medievalist geek and I'm friends with people in medieval military reenactment, and this movement in Poland put really heavy focus on historical accuracy. So this armour struck me on spot as very realistic ^^

Nonetheless, your designs, historical or not, are extremely impressive.
I'm glad I found you on DA ^^

You and I are going to be great friends, I'm pretty fond of medieval history myself, especially the high and late middle ages! Otherwise, many thanks for the kind criticism of my designs. I'm glad you think that they are impressive!
