An oc of mine.Was going to update the last reference sheet wip but i'll just keep it up as a point of reference.
I was able to flesh out more details and find a happy medium in terms of her pigtail things. In terms of personality, she's adventurous, very curious and likes to draw and write. I was thinking of giving her a companion pet thing and a partner but I'll figure that out later.
The personality I gave her before was more simply arrogant, she was going to have a more royal focused lineage, so it's a big adjustment. (I mean she could still be but it was just going to be more obvious) I kept imagining her to be doing other things so this is why things turned out the way they did. I also wanted variation in the way i did monster pigtails (mainly from raine), i thought they were too short before but now they're just mini versions of what they once were kinda.
**Edit:Also adjust the colors, i've been looking up color theory stuff as of late so hopefully I'll churn out more color related things.

Naw, her legs are slightly different. I only put the tentacle note there more to remind myself that the skin surface is more like her tentacle hair than skin.
So to actually answer your question, functionally they're more like legs but the outside skin is just more like tentacle skin than human skin. She may or may not have suction cups on the bottoms of her feet though--haven't thought that through yet. XD
