First off, I want to thank for this fanart of Scylla, it is incredibly flattering and humbling to have someone go out of their way to create something for you, even moreso for them to put their own money on the line and invest in commissioning it from a third party as Luded did, who hired: to draw it. Check em both out if you had the time.

I also want to take a moment to thank and once again. Between them they have given my idea life and form, in such fidelity and distinctive style that I could never hope to have managed by myself, their work serves as a foundation for Scylla's ongoing design, and her popularity which I have noticed. I also want to thank the lovely lady for pushing me to develop this idea and helping me out with the little details, and other stuff but that's between me and her. I'm still thinking about how best to use Scylla in the future, both in future artwork, and perhaps even getting out of the writing rut and penning a story with her in it... but one thing is for sure, she's a keeper.

Anybutt, all that introspection aside, topdylan has a rather adorable take on Scylla's design, not at all the murderous sea-witch I had conceptualised her as, but exploring this side of her appeal is fun in its own way. The idea of a turtle-shell shield to complement her spear intrigues me... maybe with a layer of urchins covering it to make it more deadly and intimidating... hmm...
