Adorable. By the looks of it a bandit or thief? Either way hopefully she gets a cute rehabilitation.

I'm sure she'll do just fine. I've heard you can tickle raccoon thieves back into society.

I'll pick up the gauntlet.
I'm going to imagine some cheerful idealistic do-gooder fox had it in their mind to catch the thief who's been stealing the town's food. She was super cocky, with a "can't catch me attitude" and a cynical self serving world view. She'd mock him and state he's not really as good as he pretends to be. "Everybody looks out for number one. I bet you don't care at all about the food. I bet you just want to catch me so you can brag to your buddies 'bout how you're 'A big big hero'. The do-gooder would blush and insist that wasn't true. She'd laugh and boldly challenge, "Catch me if you can, HERO!"
He'd try to catch her but she was more than his match in speed and skill. The do-gooder is made a fool by her several times, humiliated until he almost gave up. Finally he'd come up with a plan. He'd set a trap and bait it with goodies. She'd pretend to fall for it but pull back at the last second laughing,"Ha! Did'cha really think I was that dumb!?" He'd reply, "No. But I knew you couldn't resist showing off" To her shock another trap would spring in the middle of her escape route, and she'd be snared in crimson rope.
In the end he decides he won't hand her over to the authorites or take her to prison but decides she'll make up for her thefts by performing chores and good deeds until she becomes "a good girl". She gets upset at the thought of her wild days behind her and starts to cry, much to both the do-gooder and her own suprise. This makes her even more upset. He awkwardly promises he won't treat her badly and she'll have all the food she can eat, trying to make her feel better. He doesn't untie her but slings her helpless form over his shoulder as he took her away to her new life. He'd blush as he carried her away, feeling her body pressed against his. He wouldn't say it out loud but he'd mentally admit to himself that she was right about him. He didn't catch her just to perform a good deed. "You're so cute" he'd think, "I-I think I--I like you...and...I hope someday you'll like me..."
Also, I'll volunteer Brisket as a name.

I like it! As first and only person to volunteer a plot I'll run with it. Only other feedback was a note-vote for Suki Tanuki as name. While she's a raccoon, not a raccoondog as the name would imply I like names with cadence. But I think I got a good compromise. Suki is her real name is Brisket is her thief nickname. Maybe she stole a lot of meat once and the embarrassing name stuck!

D'aww, poor thing, looks like she's stumbled upon a trap meant for someone else. Or perhaps it's one of her own traps she forgot about, if that blush is any indication XD
