Xai Wong, or Little Gold, is the Jade Prince's puppy dog and bestest fuzzy friend.One day Lil' Wong is drawn to the edge of the Celestial Realm by curious looking things. While admiring the view, he's booted off the edge and falls toward the mortal realm. Instead of landing amongst the mortals where he can wait for help, he instead falls past a cemetery, breaking through where the barrier to Diyu is thinniest.
As he continues to fall, Wong is twisted and burned by the foul atmosphere, landing broken and changed.
All that remains of his past identity is his little golden bell collar.

I am somewhat confused, the universe of Zodihavoc is the typical universe of anthropomorphic animals like Kung Fu Panda, or is it in the universe of humans and the characters are evolved animals?

Iām new to this but I read this took place in the same world of The Monkey King in Journey to the West. There are anthropomorphic animals and humans as well.

I love this, especially as I stumbled first upon the Zodiac fighter incarnation, but to tell the backstory this way is stunningly beautiful
