My new drawing based on a picture of Jessica Alba. i know i'm gping to blow you all away with this comment but i'm not a big fan... i find it hard to take her seriously as an actress but you cant deny the woman is stunning! this particular reference i really love, its something a bit different and after knocking out so many regular portraits this year its nice to draw something a bit special.It doesn't look like Alba though i hear you shout..
Its not really supposed to, i change dit because with all the beautiful jewellery i thought that crystaline eyes would really compliment the picture, hence jessica how you've never seen her before with really light grey eyes. please full view because i worked really hard at the eye on the details of the iris, the shadows on the whites, the wrinkles under the eye, the light reflecting on the lashes and the shadows of the lashes on her cheek bones.
wow i've waffled on about this one a lot. not sure if i'm utterly happy with it but feedback is always much appreciated whethert positive or negative.

Honestly, when it comest to traditional art mediums, such as pencil and paper, or paint and canvas, I have no clue where to begin. I think what you've done here is absolutely fantastic! I am truly impressed with how you took a reference of Jessica Alba and transformed her to create a unique image that is all your own. Excellent work with the shading and details. It's practically flawless! So smooth, and well balanced! I'm going to look at more of your art!
BTW, I saw this featured in ElenaR's journal - and I had to view it in full and comment/fav. I couldn't help it! It just had to be done!

always use a cotton wool bud! (q tip) it works wonders!

Not bad. There's some really nice aspects to this but at the same time there are some poor ones. It looks nice overall, but when you look closely could use a little more work in some areas.
One obvious one is the fact you can still see the grid lines! Some areas could be sharpened or rounded more. Her irises don't match.
Nice work though, but you could have put a little more time into it to make it that much better!

awesome work.... nose,lips,eyes are beautiful & the jewels are so realistic!but with nose you did great job. you remind me on myself with that nice shading skill...but your skill is better for sure

Very nice !!! I especialy love that you didn't draw her hair perfectly slicked if i say so. There are few hairs that stand out and i love that ! I also like the shadow of the earing on her neck a lot! Love it!

wow this amazing, i attempted to draw the same picture a while ago but it was a failure i ended up drawing the same picture over and over but it still wasnt good enough its in my gallery but you will probably notice that i missed out a thew things lol, this is the kind of quality i was aiming for but i am not even close to your drawing skill this an instant fave.
