Description Characters from the Vampire Diaries, coloured pencil on A2. I drew this for the Vampire Diaries Club.

I am happy with the drawing but I was having problems with my materials (I explained in my journal). For some reason I am no longer happy with the amount of detail I can get into the drawings, I think maybe I have out grown my materials because I feel like I can do so much more. I plan to get some new pencils and smoother paper after christmas though.

YouΒ΄ve chosen the colors well, I like the red shine in the background.

I am really glad you like it, I will do some more drawings for the group when I have some new pencils, they should be much better then.

I think this drawing could have been way better, just couldn't get all of the details, the pencils crumbled and the card was grainey. Luckily I have found some excellent pencils, just need to get some smoother card. My drawings will be a million times better from now on!
