Description This is a wood owl. I must say that I like it but also dislike it. I think I can do better. But still, I like it more than enough to place it here :3
I'm quite happy about the feathers. It started as an pencils sketch but I added some color to it. Overall, I'm pleased about it!

time: 30 minutes
materials: paper, 6B pencil and watercolors.

This endearing little owl is done perfectly in keeping with the folk art style of owl crazed days gone by while retaining a fresh look. I love seeing great artists who don't need to spend days on a work. DA needs more art like this and less of the over-stylized stuff.

It's adorable! I love owls, they're beautiful, and if they aren't beutiful they're cute. Well that goes for all animals, except humans.. some humans are ugly.. on the inside more than the outside...
