Love the look of these, all the nice little touches are awesome. I appreciate the Obelax of course.
Smoking crime investigating Psyduck, I would read it.
Who was your starter? Or are they already gone (or was that one of the requirements of the Nuzlocke). X/Y seems quite a good one to do a Nuzlocke because you do seem to get a diverse range of Pokemon popping out you.

My starter was Froakie (named Jiraya because at the start I was thinking of naming them just after comics characters)
He died on the second route or so.
I went with the rule that I was only allowed to use each Pokecenter once, and had to fight all wild pokemon, so some wild Pokemon got a lucky critical and I was left with Prunelle as my only Pokemon. But since the beginning is pretty bug-heavy he did well on his own and ended up carrying the team through the beginning.
Obelix died, though, (as did Tyrunt Asterix) I need to replace him with Yoko the Eevee.
I really like Inspector Canardo (who is a duck). It's sort of parody noir-thing, especially in the beginning, but it ends up with genuinely touching stuff. Which is also comedic in it's own way because how crap everyone's life is all the time and how cheap life is...
I am re-reading those albums, and drew some characters in the style of that world.

Seems Prunelle did good then.
That sounds like a tough set of rules to follow.
Nooo! Not Asterix and Obelix!
What are you going to try to evolve the Eevee into?
I tend to like having just a team of 6 Pokemon and only working with them, but now there's so many types and advantages (and quite a few new Pokemon I've never seen before which I wanted to catch) that now I've sort of got Team A and Team B, and sort of rotate between them.
My Pokemon tend to be named either after OC's, Sentai or RPM characters. It's not a consistent naming system, mainly whatever I feel suits them.
Sounds cool.

I don't usually, at least when playing for the first time, name my Pokemon. Because I want to go in blind, without knowing anything about the new Pokemon, and I like to learn their official names.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but at least once in a generation I do my 'Toxica'-run, and then I name all my Pokemon after poisons. (It started out in original Red, where I wanted to specialize in a type, and poison was the easiest, so I named my trainer 'Toxica'.)
As for my Nuzlocke, it's pretty easy, actually. The biggest threats you have are sudden deaths anyway, where a pokemon has an unexpected move or something.
I lost Jeanne that way. (I feel bad about that! I didn't mean to!)
Gaston is pretty much the powerhouse of the team ATM, since starters tend to be strong and grow fast.
I want a Vaporeon, but not sure where I can get a water stone...

I'm always for naming Pokemon.
I remember that. I think I saw a list of Nuzlocke suggestions; one was play as a gym leader where you collect just the one type of Pokemon. Toxica should be the next gym leader.
I'd be too worried about losing any of my team. I wouldn't want any one of them to die.
I swear you can just find them lying about some place, I had two of them at one point. Still got one though I doubt I'll use it. (Actually I might need to trade some Pokemon as well, when I get a Scyther I really want to turn it into a Scizor)
Good old Gaston. I've had the same with my Chespin, (I named her Summer, for the RPM yellow ranger) who ended up being a complete badass, she was just killing stuff. I guess since she learnt rock and ground moves as well really made her useful.

Toxica already became a gymleader:

She never was a rocker, but her personality is pretty similar.
"I'd be too worried about losing any of my team. I wouldn't want any one of them to die."
Well, in Y I send them off through wondertrade, so they just move away. (Obelix moved to Canada)
Yeah, you can find waterstones... I'm not sure if I'll limit myself by not using any guides, though.
I also remember playing a single-pokemon run in Red back in the day, (with Blastoise, and some HM-slaves for Cut etc.) but it was too easy.
