The wild Tokota stopped howling but rather than silence following it there was a deep, heavy crunch in the snow. As it grew louder, a new sound joined it. Loud huffs belonging to something massive - maybe a wild dire?

Atoya gripped Truly tighter, afraid to turn around but a sound so guttural and feral forced her hand. She feared at first the wild tokota had turned on them believing that it was them who had killed Nikolai but instead her eyes widened at the true source.

A heaping wall of a beast stood atop the rock beside them, blood caked on its muzzle.

The wild tokota snarled at the intruder - murderer - but Atoya knew the three didn't stand a chance against this monster.
