This is a continuation of the animation I did a couple days ago (www.deviantart.com/lightswitch… ) where Pyra was being rolled up by Mythra. I like the kick Mythra does. The whole reinflation part was sort of a last minute addition. I had finished everything and then thought it could still use something as it was basically the same thing as the previous rolling animations I did, so I stuck that in and its fine I guess.

Thanks for saying that about my animations. I'm glad you like them that much. I probably will make more stuff with Pyra and Mythra doing stuff because I like using both of those characters.
And now I'm going to talk about Xenoblade 2 lore so if you, or anyone else reading this, hasn't beaten the game, I highly recommend you stop.
The way I always thought about Pyra and Mythra before the end of the game, was them being one mind, with a filter out over it depending on which one was out. So Pyra would come out for situations where she wanted to be more gentle, and Mythra would come out when she wanted to be more headstrong.
And I imagine the Pneuma form isn't actually a combination of Pyra and Mythra, rather each is a flawed derivative of the Pneuma form, and only when you add them up do they truly become the flawless being that Pneuma was. She's just the unfiltered version of Pyra or Mythra's mind.
But I think you're right about Pyra and Mythra considering each other sisters. I don't remember when, but there was a cutscene in which Pyra mentioned that. And then in one heart to heart Mythra got pissed at Morag because she was having sibling problems and Mythra reminded her that she considered Pyra a sister or something.
And Malos is likely their brother. I believe in Torna he refers to Mythra as such. This would, by extension, make Alvis also their brother, as I'm pretty sure he is the Ontos core crystal that was lost when Klaus recreated the world.
As far as after the game goes I have no idea how they think of each other. They clearly have separate bodies, but do they still share a mind? Can they still talk through their minds? If not, I imagine they would sort of live as sisters, however considering they used to be a single mind it would be extremely weird.
