Thanks, I made it for the DC couples Christmas challenge, the mission was to draw the couples in a romantic setting giving each other the perfect presents etc... and I just couldn't help throwing an evil twist into it.

I think you're right to be honest, I mean with Shayera and John the relationship is dynamic and the characters are well suited to one another. I always felt like Vixen was just there for the sake of it, the relationship just seems awkward to me.
I guess I don't mind her but she always seems to be in some sort of peril to me, I mean like in 'Wake the Dead' no way was a statue going to do the job lol

I dunno I thought she was a good character, I just didn't like her in that relationship, one cuz it didn't work, two cuz he's Shayera's, and three cuz her scenes on the show revolved mainly around her relationship with GL so it was kinda "defining" her like it was the only reason she was even there, overshadowing the fact that she has a personality and cool superpowers etc, plus being defined by a relationship is not a good idea when it's a relationship that doesn't work

You're right about the overshadowing, I think theres only really one episode where you get a better idea of her character and that is in 'Hunters moon' mostly because John isn't there. She does have cool powers, I can't figure why she can't fly though...seems odd to me.
I agree though the relationship doesn't work too well, John always seems distracted lol

I think she can also fly in the regular comics but I'm not sure, anyway I think in JLU she wasn't supposed to be able to fly but someone else wrote the comics based on them, and it was a story where GL and Vixen fought alongside Green Arrow and Black Canary and GL said they needed a "strong flyer, someone like Shayera" so Mari got pissed off and tapped into her bird superpowers and went like maybe I'm not Shayera but I'm gonna do my best etc, but in the end GL and Vixen made up and Shayera said they made a great team which pissed me off cuz they don't, I just wanna to see them break up already so he can go back to Shayera LOL

There WERE comics based on the series, there was "Justice League Adventures" based on JL, and Justice League Unlimited comics after the show turned into JLU. But they both stopped running already

I don't think there's like single issues for download, just a pack of all the JL Adventures issues and another of all the JLU issues
There's also comics based on the Batman Beyond cartoon and other DC shows outside the DCAU so I'm assuming there's more DCAU comics I still haven't found yet... oh and BTW they integrated Batman Beyond into regular comics canon so basically now the DCAU is comics canon too, and Warhawk shows up in the new Batman Beyond comics which makes John and Shayera comics canon
