So, in my recent dives to nostalgia land...I rediscovered A Goofy Movie. More specifically - the Soundtrack.
Now, while listening - I realized "Hey, 'Stand Out' reminds me of Superboy. Heh. 90's Kon even had Powerline's hair....*GASP* The lyrics fit the new Young Justice Cartoon Superboy!" And then you realize that 'A Goofy Movie' is a father-son bonding flick ending with a 'WE LIKE EACH OTHER NOW AND SEE THINGS EYE TO EYE!" ending...I went "IT FITS."
Superman is doomed. He'll love that kid yet. XD
I digress.
"Stand Out" is now Superboy's Themesong in my head. <3
Anyway. Couldn't get him singing it out of my head so of course this dove into a Parody of the amazing final number of that movie. And you get this.
I haven't figured out if I should be apologizing or not.

I-- honestly laughed out loud when I saw this (and laughed twice as hard when I realized it was /Robin/ as that awesome fat lady in the goofy dress that comes up halfway through the song) - it's great; A Goofy Movie is one of my favourites and my friend and I have this huge inside joke with this song - and of course Stand Out, which is one of the greatest songs in the universe
I love how well you portrayed the scene - it wasn't until I looked at it closely that I realized that it was YJ, and your reasoning for this crossover is awesome - like, obviously the bond between Superboy and Superman is a bit different than that of Max and Goofy, but it would totally work! I mean -- not even going to finish that. It's just...
Sorry. I always go this insane when this movie is brought up, because it's just this really great Disney movie that's so simple compared to their other movies and so amazing in it's simplicity and... Yeah. That with Young Justice, one of the few shows that gives me hope for the future of cartoons, it just... Well, it did all of that ^. So... yeah.

I think it is, maybe its because im such a nostalgic person and one of my favorite disney movies is the goofy movie. stand out and eye to eye are personal favs along with nobody else but you XD that and i think its funny trying to picture superboy singing that song >.<
