Well, it started as a request, but I had a fair bit of flexibility. I decided to focus on the cute embarrassment of the cowgirl and the polite patience of the maid. I didn't get the back story from the person who requested it, but I imagined the cowgirl was a little rough around the edges and had resisted any attempts at "civilization" numerous times, so miss maid decided to take matters into her own hands (while maintaining her polite professionalism, of course!)

As for the actual painting, I've honestly never painted a blonde before, and yellow can be a temperamental color to work with, so I decided to weave complementary purples and a bit of pink into the composition to give it some punch. I *think* it was successful, but I haven't had any formal art training, so I might be completely delusional. >_>;

You have really detailed color here. I'm surprised you take requests! Usually people who draw this well tend not to.

The ropework looks kinda elaborate - any particular reason for that?

So the request was pretty much just a basic idea, and you had freedom to interpret it however you wished?

Anyway, do you still take requests? Is it okay if I make one?

Thank you for the compliment! I love color I actually look forward to taking the occasional request. Drawing other people's ideas is usually a learning experience for me, and it's fun making others happy in the process. Plus, I'm hoping to maybe make some artsy friends this way. My real life friends get a little exasperated if I ask them about color and composition too often. >_>;

The ropework was part of the learning process for this picture. I'd never drawn anyone tied up before, so I did a little research into various methods and shibari (Japanese rope bondage- nsfw!). I assumed the maid, Yoko, was Japanese, so I thought it'd be a neat detail to include. After a couple sketches I decided shibari was a little too complex for the picture, so I stuck to an earlier chair tying method I had found.

Yep! The actual request was: Yoko is tying Cheryl up and is serving her tea. I was given two reference pics of the girls, and went from there. The ref pics: [link] and [link]

I still do take requests, but am a bit busy to get to work on it right away. Feel free to send me a note with your ideas though! I'll let you know if I want to tackle it and give you a very rough time frame on when I could possibly start. ^_^

You have a very nice colorful style, but I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas, to be honest. That's why it took me so long to get back to this comment even though you put it up like weeks ago! Sorry!

Was it weird drawing someone tied up, since you'd never done it before?

No worries! Take your time; there's no rush. I've been really busy lately, so you're actually doing me a favor

It was a little weird, but not overly so. Drawing new things is usually a challenge I enjoy. (Unless it's something mechanical. Mechanical stuff makes me want to tear my hair out >_<)

Mostly weird because the theme was a little strange. I received quite a few odd requests in a similar vein (varying from light bondage to darker stuff) after I posted this one, but I'm not really big on dark themes in my pictures.

I have! [link] is barefoot, though her feet aren't very prominent. [link] and [link] are also barefoot, though the former hasn't been colored yet, and the latter is just a sketch. ^_^

Yeah, when you put up a picture of one kind of thing, people who like it tend to ask for more.

Anyway, I still don't have any ideas, but I don't want to ask you to draw something you don't like.

Like I said, take your time for ideas! If I don't like it, I'll most likely say so and ask if you'd prefer anything else. I'm open to most stuff, except really dark and violent things. Not big on techy mech stuff either, but I mentioned that earlier
