Just a lazy Sunday doodle of a bunch of things I like to draw including hands, smoke and Hope
Oh man, he's so much fun to draw, I don't draw him enough!I forgot to draw the gloves on him and then I liked the way the hand turned out too much to change it TwT Someone tell this dumbass to stop washing his hands till they bleed.

Wow this is very nice! I love the way you drew the hands! You can see all the joints in the fingers and I think that's really neat! The design of this character is very cool as well. While I'm not a smoker personally, it can be interesting to see how such an act can truly bring out the nature of a character artistically speaking. It gives one an edge so to speak to their personality and what they might be feeling like in the moment. Does it give them the illusion that they're cool? Does it give them a sense of inner peace as they reflect to themselves about whatever is on their mind? Or is it just a passive pastime they just so happen to enjoy? Psychology can be fun to take into account when giving these types of images a much deeper meaning than what initially meet the eye upon first glance.
Terrific use of a limited color palette and expression work to bring out the most in this character.

LMAO XD I guess I made him a smoker cause it's typically seen as a habit that badass characters have,
and since this character has multiple personalities I chose to make him a smoker to add contrast between this personality
and another personality he has that is the polar opposite of this. He never smokes and keeps everything neat and tidy. ^^

This guy's a regular James Dean, a John Wayne even. At least, in this setting he sure gives off that kind of vibe...with just a touch of John Bender from The Breakfast Club-type of rebellious attitude.
That's a cool character creation aspect to take into consideration at times, because a lot of us do have different facets of our personalities and certain things can bring out different habits or reactions of ours at different times. :]

Yup, his hand does look like it could do with some moisturizing cream. I guess it goes pretty well with his moody aesthetic, though. His expression is probably the best thing about this.

This is absolutely lovely-- the small warm-ish accents [cigarette tip, eyes, slightly the hands] really add an interesting depth to the piece as a whole, and add interest ^^

His expression perfectly communicates how he's feeling. In relation to the rest of the drawing, his hand looks a bit too large, though. This is a great piece, though! I'm really interested in your character now haha.

His skin and hair are entirely shaded with the pen tool in SAI, and I softened the edged with the airbrush tool at 80%
The hoodie was just completely black, then I just painted on some lighter areas with the marker.
And for the smoke, that's also the pen tool (layer at 50% opacity) and some areas are airbrushed darker

I really like all the detail of the image, especially with the cigarette and its smoke. It is cool how you show the level of damage on his hand. The two diffrent colors of his hair is also done well.
