I'm looking at the comments below about how he should get a puppy -- and that's what his imaginary friend with the green/white tongue is!!Β This drawing is moving.Β The tears and the sad expressive eyes/face -- shows the impact of bullying and what it feels like to be an outsider.Β My hat is off to you for being able to portray all this!

The realm of bullying, a continuous vicious cycle that repeats and repeats in all civilizations no matter the era the world finds itself in. It makes me happy we've made strides in combating back against it, especially as I often found myself an easy target growing up for such types of people. It's easy to sympathize with this poor guy here, although thankfully any squabbles I ever personally found myself in never resulted in blood being drawn. The lighting on this piece is rendered and applied admirably, and the details are done great enough to the point you made yoir point about bullying well known to your audience without having to get too graphic with it. A solid piece that can teach a person to have a little more compassion for their fellow human being.

I'm don't know much about anime-style art but anatomy seems ok. Cartoon-ish, sure, but it works. I really like the color scheme, it's warm and cozy, and the highlights/shadows sure are interesting.Β
*Can I give some advice? I always do this mistake and I'm trying to correct it and maybe it would help you a little too: Detailed parts (and contrast) come forth and get all the attention, so I feel like I should look at his left eye although the right is closer, and it gets a little confusing.Β

Wow - I think this is really powerful.Β The simple title, "Bullied" and the look on the character's face says it all.Β The soft-tones and brush strokes make the character even more sympathetic.Β Also nice use of the lighting coming from the upper left and the other side of the character is in shadows.Β It adds a lot of visual depth.

I like the different style from my own. You are more Bloomed out like someone turned the Gama and the back lighting on high.
You also put more work into your line work. Where as I leave mine pretty bare and use the coloring to fill in the details.
This is why i love DA getting to see others styles and ideas.
