Description Cranes struck me as graceful and strong. They are said to symbolize happiness, longevity, loyalty to loved ones. Japanese legend also says that a crane will grant a person's greatest wish if he or she folds thousand origami cranes.

Wonderful. Absolutely stunning. This is gorgeous, very gorgeous. The feathers are drawn wonderfully (I don't like drawing feathers; I suck at it) and the way that the water kind of trails up a bit is very well done!

The paper crane is so cute! I don't think I could ever draw paper that was folded. I kind of fail a lot at almost everything.

Oh wow. Crap. I totally missed the etches of the trees in the background and when I readjusted my contact lens it was there like, BAM! In my face. It's kind of hard to see it though. Is the scene supposed to be foggy...?

Thank you.

Feathers and folded paper just may take a bit practice to draw, but I'm sure you can draw them beautifully : )

You have a great point about the background! I wanted to be a little bit foggy, but everything became more blurry than intended, after I uploaded the image onto DA. I will try to bring out the background more and mess up with the upload settings.

Aww thank you!

Yeah, I've noticed that sometimes my work comes up not exactly how it was.... if that makes even partial sense. lol.

Very pretty! I saw real cranes in a zoo in Hong Kong, and they're really big and scary XD

This...this is gorgeous, to say the least. The colors, the composition, the execution, and it's just so damn cute while it's being so pretty and graceful. Love it.
