Just did this before work. Took about an hour.This is a figure sketch of a beautiful photo of at the link here: [link]
I know, it's not perfect, but i hope it's good enough. I just thought this picture was very beautiful when she sent me the link in one of her comments on my work.
It feels good to do figure drawing again after all this time. Pulling stuff outta my head was fun, but i think i need a break from that now. I may be hunting around for more big beautiful photos to draw from for a little while, to get some more shapes and sizes imprinted into my brain cells so i can draw stuff out of my mind with even MORE accuracy!

Hehe, i know how that is, and i am very glad you enjoyed it! I was hoping you weren't offended or upset that i drew it without asking. Yup, you are truely one of the most beautiful women i've ever seen, so it was a pleasure to draw you and your beautiful shape! I did take a quick look a little while ago and favorited a few pieces, but i'll go back to look some more for possible future drawings, hehe!
I'm about at the stage to start taking these figure drawings and adding creative touches of my own (like wings or you know, other stuff, haha).
Oh, and i didn't look before because Carolyn didn't like me looking at nudes of other women while we were together, but we're broken up now, and i thought i'd finally start doing what i've been wanting to do for 5 years, but wasn't allowed.

the lines for the folds are in great places, and the face pressed up against the hands is well done!
figure drawing is where its at. it takes a bit more time, but it's worth it!

Very well done,I should say. I like how the arm under her chin came out,exactly like the orignal photo..that stood out to me the most.
I shouldn't rant about anything here....but I do have something to say...I went to this persons DA gallery and saw a few comments about how she shouldn't post pictures of her "ass" because it's not " womanly".... because she was showing off her body....Dude,I've seen much MORE revealing female body shots here on DA and EVERYONE drools all over themselves if it's a thin chick...but once a bigger girl does it.... she's "disgusting" and shouldn't post it....Ya know what,they can ALL bite my ass... that's not right...it takes alot from a bigger person to have the confidence enough to post something like that..... and then you get jerks like that commenting... That's wrong...
Though,sometimes I HATE seeing nudes of women on DA only because most of them are just not artistic to me....but,people need to accept that the human body is beautiful..... and to leave others alone..... ugh
To - I admire your courage,and don't let jerks bring you down.... I'm sorry that people just don't know how to act.....

Hehe, rant accepted. I didn't go through all her gallery yet, so i didn't see what you're referring to, but yah ... people can be very stupid - if it's not something they were force-fed to understand, they just don't see it, or see it as ugly or wrong.
People like you and me gotta rise up and let everyone know that beauty is in everything and everyone, big or small!
And thanks about the drawing, too, hehe. And her arm. When i flip back and forth i realize i drew her arm slightly smaller, but the shape is the same. It's hard keeping all the proportions right in figure drawing, hehe. That's why i usually don't do it. But it's been a while and it feels good to relearn some shapes!

I went through her gallery because I wanted to see the other pictures she had posted on her DA...and I came across this one [link] and read some of the comments and I saw some rather mean comments to her....It aggravates me ...because if she was a thin girl doing that guys would be all up her "ass" because she's thin and crap...but because she's bigger she gets ridiculed for it. That bothers me....I for one,do sometimes get very tired of seeing bigger people thinking that it's OKAY to strut around like being big is healthy...it's not,if your not the size you need to be for your height and body then your overweight if you don't want to see it or not...it's NOT to say that bigger people can't love themselves no matter what...because I'm all about loving who you are...but,it's still another thing to have the attitude that it's OKAY to be 500lbs+ ...I'm a big girl as well,I'm not that big,I'm about 200lbs and less and for ME my body and height that's like probably 50lbs+ OVERWEIGHT that I am....
I find it ... annoying when people say you need to be rail thin...but you don't need to be as big as a house either...I dunno...lol that's just me

Just checked'em out, and they're very lovely. I would definitely like to draw your body type, since i rarely do bellies tat have no rolls, i'll think of it as a learning experience, hehe! So, like i mentioned over there, if my artistic side strikes me again, i'll keep your photos in mind. Thank you for sharing!
