Looks just like the one I made for RED Team, the tacks were a good idea. I'm going to try a Syringegun and the Overdose.

Very nice work, and wait, were you at Ohayocon this year, I saw a BLU pyro with a flare gun that looked just like this one.

Why yes that was me. They wouldnt let me carry my flamethrower around the con do to its metal tank. I am glad my props are being recognized out at cons.

Thank you. It fell apart shortly after when I dropped it. It had been to 4 cons from ohayocon to ACen. I just need to repair it. My main adhesive back then wasn't as strong as what I use now so it was bound to happen.

i don't know a whole lot about prop recreation myself, but the paint on that handle is a little messy, and looks like it could use another coating.
other than that, this is gorgeous!

Um in total took about a day of work. The only hard part was flaring the barrel. Had to go to a friends house.

how is the cone part made. heating up the front of the pipe, adding another piece of plastic or is it attached to the barrel as one piece you found?

limpach In reply to Kevenaar [2010-07-23 04:10:38 +0000 UTC]
one piece that I heated of and formed around a beer bottle. Once It was fairly well flared out I flattened it on a board.
