Waiting for who will make the first move.
This painting was so much fun. I really had no problems and loved doing every little detail.
I have not done males in a long time and wanted to have something new to work on. I am shocked that it really didn't take long at all.
I have class in the moring until 5pm and I will not be able to work on this until then..so I went ahead and posted this. I am sure there is more I can do to this painting. If anyone sees something that is worth changing or making...I will update it. I just wanted to post it to see what others think.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

"Match" by *LindaLisa is an amazing piece of art that takes facial expression to the limit.
I am amazed at the level of detail on the human figure, it has a photo realistic quality to it. The fine hairs on his head and face/ neck are so perfectly done! I especially like the addition of the scars, it seems to add to the overall feeling of danger.
The creativity on the more monstrous figure is wonderful! The impact of his facial expression is phenomenal.
The one thing about this painting that I feel could be looked at for improvement is the eye of the human guy. I know his eyes are fairly closed in the ref pic, but it seems to detract from the connection of the two. I would envision them staring each other down more.
Overall this painting is a compelling example of *LindaLisa 's mastery of her medium and its realistic quality and intensity really draws the viewer in!

The strange thing about this piece... Today is the first time I've ever seen this picture and I know for a fact that its similar to a dream I once had.
I really have never had a deja vu with someone elses art but I'm possibly having it.Β Except I know for a fact that this guy was devinately losing his skin.Β Not just getting his face spat on.
The guy on the left was being yelled at so loudly and forcibly that his skin was being ripped off his face.
I hope to use your piece to describe what I'm talking about.Β I just know for a fact that its not gonna look anywhere close to as good as this piece.

Yes, every hair is painting by hand without a "hair" brush. I really had the idea for how the hair looked in my head and the hair brushed just did not move in the way I wanted it to look in this painting. lol

This is amazing, when I saw the preview I thought it was a good photomanipulation. But then...Oh god, it's just awesome the amount of details and realism make this look like a real masterpiece!

if you had said this was done in a 3D program, it would have still been wonderful, but not quite so amazing. but to say it's painted.... well just freaking fantastic. i can't begin to imagine doing this. it's just absolutely AWESOME!!!
