Description A pointillism excercise, taking seperate elements and putting them together in a way which seemed interesting.....and basically allowed me to dot for hours.

Addition:
I used some great photographs as reference in this piece, and realised that I haven't credited the photographers. The horse photo is by Marcel Reimer, the ballerina shot was taken by Marcel Aniceto.

wow! this is lovely what patience you have i love how you did the sun and the background, the whole pictures just looks very balanced.

It's always nice seeing a surrealistic piece that brings something entirely new to the genre. Wonderful style and colors, I really like the strange atmosphere in the piece. I think I'll probably have to try pointillism some day, just because of the insanity factor.

I'm glad you like it! I think I might go back to this sort of thing. Find some unusual photos or objects and throw em all together

This piece intrigues me and your dotting most certainly payed off. The conceptual design in it "the dancer with a bird on her foot, a moment away from her and its flight" "the powerful horse beneath her foot suggesting her control of strength and stamina" " the monkey on its back suggesting the conflict of addiction and trouble" all weave a lovely transforming metaphoric picture. The other elements of this one "the whispering effect of the suns rays " " the nodular clouds that center the picture" and" the intricate design of the greenhouses" pull this into extremely feminine and inspiring piece of art. Very well done.

I admire your patience with this piece. I despise pointillism when it's all about me being forced to do it. I'm wayyy too lazy. Haha. Very nice! It's an interesting concept. Keep up the wonderful work!
