Hey everyone! I had an urge earlier to stop everything I was doing and paint a Silky Chicken. Sometimes, you just have to listen to your gut and paint a Silky Chicken. Ha ha.
Painted in Photoshop, about 2 hours of work.

I used to have a buff silkie named Peanut. She was the most adorable little thing, she loved to sit in your lap and be carried around! She liked to go to the park with me to sit on the grass.

Silkies are the best. I can't wait until I can get a place where I have a yard and can have animals again. One of the first pets I'll get is a silkie! I think I might go for a white or black one this time around! ^_^

I love these little guys. My parents have a single silkie that is the goofiest little girl ever, she absolutely insists on being picked up if you are within their enclosure.
