My first shoujo-ai submission! It's won't be to everyone's taste, but meh. Don't like it, don't have to look at it.

This is Hitomi and Lei Fang of Dead or Alive fame, of course (Lei is on top, for those who may confuse between them, like Cardinal Ximenez did when I showed him just now). This is a post-pillow fight pic, which left the girls positively pooped, so they're taking a little nap. In the final, coloured version, expect them to be surrounded by pillows, feathers and teddies and they'll be lying on a bed. Some real cutesy wutesy stuff here.

Considering that I haven't always done amazingly well in sketches where two people are interacting (ahem), I think this one came out quite well, and it looks believeable to me. The poses took a while to perfect, and Hitomi started out looking alot bigger than Lei Fang, but that's the beauty of drawing with a tablet - everything is so easily edited and altered, and for me, it kicks the ass of pencil and paper in just about every way, once you've got going. Hitomi's hair is a bit scruffy, but don't worry about that, at this stage it's just a guide, really. Lei Fang's hair looks very smooth and light, so I'm pleased with that. I'm glad I did her with her hair down in the end, as her pigtails are just so damn complicated. Unlike previous attempts at underwear, I've actually used source pics this time to get their lingerie looking right, and I think it paid off, as it's one of the things I'm most proud of here, particularly Hitomi's top, which will be pink, and both their panties are nice and detailed too. Lei will be in yellow, as usual. I think Hitomi's face might still need a tiny bit of work, even though I've constantly had to go back and alter it throughout the duration of this piece. Once again, I found closed eyes damn tricky to get right, but they're not too bad in the end.

Recently, I've said I want to go for different coloring styles for my pics, to see if I can get something that still looks good, without taking ages to do. So with that in mind, I wanna try something fairly simple with the colour of this pic. I dunno what exactly just yet, but I have a kind of hazy idea. So just wait and see!

Let me know what you like, and what you think I should change. In general, I think it's a really cute pic, and I'm looking forward to diving back in there and carrying on with em. X3
