Well I suppose this is a big change in my usual stuff. I went through a phase of drawing Koi carp several months ago and finally came up with this concept.This is a potential T-shirt design not sure if I will use it or not. Anyway This was originally a traditional ink job which once scanned into photoshop was edited with some splatter brushes.

All in all porbably only took me 2 hours to complete.

I do not know if it's because my zodiac sign is fish or simply because your design is beautiful, or maybe it is for both reasons ... but in my opinion, this piece is amazingly beautiful
the colors selection is perfect, even if fishes are most often found on a blue or even green background, the combination of red, orange and yellow is very cool

Moreover, the choice of Japanese fish adds an exotic feeling

I love this piece and would like to see it as a T-shirt or poster, maybe even on a coffee mug.
This piece has a very nice feel to it and I like your style as well. It is reminiscent of the Ying and Yang symbol.
I also like your color scheme. The colors are very simple but they work perfectly with the overall design.
The white fish seems to get lost at the bottom of the piece because of the white background. The color seems to heavily concentrated in the center of the page, probably because most of the color seems to be on the black fish. However, all together this is a beautiful piece of artwork and I look forward to seeing more of your artwork in the future.

Ooh, great. The color choices are wonderful, and Koi are such serene fish. The colors of the Koi really remind me of Yin-Yang. Yeah, pretty much everything everyone else said.
Oh! But I love how the black Koi looks like an ink print and has paint on its white markings.

Thank you, the splash of colour was a complete experiment since I loved the linework as it was but didn't think that colouring the fish in would look right! ^^

Oh I do like this. I'm thinking printed oversized and bleed to edge on a large 80's style batwing/wide sleeve off-shoulder tunic shirt, worn with thick belt and leggings.
