Thank you. I generally try to imply everything, instead of painting it. I leave it to the viewer imagine it. (Which is to say, I try not to paint what I know I can't paint.)

I couldn't stop smiling for some reason, this is beautiful. I love the dotted feel of the brush on canvas, where I can look on to different colors fading into a cozy walk in the morning, sorry i'm mumbling here, I just love this one.

Thanks. I'm happy you've found something in this painting you like. I try to paint pictures to that take viewers with imagination to places "you can't get to from here." I had fun painting this as well.

Reminds me of a Cezanne painting. Beautiful.

Thank you. I think someone else suggested that one of my recent paintings reminded them of Cezanne as well. Maybe (hopefully) I'm doing something a little than I have been. In any event, it is not intentional. He'd actually not one of my favorite painters.

to be honest I prefer your work over Cezanne. Cezanne's work can be quite dark and morbid, whilst yours in full of light and life. Keep up the great work

Thanks again. It is cool to find people like you who appreciate my work -- they're rather rare. (But as I said in another post, that's the way I like it. I've successfully avoided getting rich all my life, and I don't want to blow it now.)

Nice! You should use more dark colors like this to make light colors more power IMHO

Thanks. That is the plan. I'm finding uses for some orange paint that I've had around for years and never liked. It makes a very dark green mixed with blue.

Yes, some brown and dark yellow look nice only as transparent (like watercolor underground) But the blue is dark enough in its pure state.
