Wow, a new submission. I'm horrible, I know. I just haven't been doing that much submittable drawing these days. This one is pretty much a glorified doodle, but whaaaaatever.

I don't do fanart very often, but..... As the title suggests this is Crysania. ^_^ When I was reading Dragonlance she was my favorite female character. I hate to admit it but I think that was solely due to the fact that she had long black curly hair, which I desperately wanted when I was 13. (my own hair is mousey brown and as straight as can be.) Well I guess her being the one who gets to tromp around with Raistlin all day helps too. heh. Nobody seems to read Dragonlance anymore, (not even me!) but back in the day before everyone was connected to the internet, and only the smelly weird kids liked anime, Dragonlance was pretty popular. At least where I grew up it was. >_> And I have to say... I hate Larry Elmore. Just not a fan at all. The first edition covers were all nice enough I guess but the new ones, the ones that I bought, u_u are uuuugly! Ugly ugly ugly! Probably better than anything I could do, granted, but still ugly. ^_^ Wouldn't it have been nice if Frank Frazetta had painted the covers? (I have seen a third edition that has completely different covers not done by Elmore at all and those look much better.)

This is drawn on tracing paper with a felt-tipped pen! Yes! I was too lazy to even transfer it to proper paper to finish the drawing! When I scanned it, the translucently of the tracing paper made it look kind of..... smudgy. I was going to sharpen everything up, even out all the black, but you know what, I kind of like the way it turned out. So this is the way it stays.
