My mom suprised me on christmas morning by saying she had bought me the bird i wanted!!!! So today we drove out to Deleware to pick up my new Green Pacific Parrotlet, Figgy. Words can not describe how much i love my little bundle of feathers. He is such a sweetie!
He loves to snuggle and be scratched, but he also loves to run around and play, and he is FULL of energy!!! I LOVE FIGGY!!!

you should! figgy is my only bird, so i have lots of time for him. hes super tame and is usually out of his cage more than not.

Oh, just noticed the background, BE CAREFUL about bringing him to pet stores. Exposing him to other birds can make him sick. I've worked in a pet store and have a friend who worked at Petco and another few in Petsmart....they get sick animals delivered at pet stores from time to time. Often with bacterial infections and it can pass very very easily. If an employee was in the sick room and even if they wash their hands, just being near the bird, the infection will travel with them on their clothes, hair, skin, and shoes. I have known birds who died after visiting pet stores.

my mom wonted one and i dont think he wus expensive thats just cus the pepole dident wont him enymore but we had to get rid of him a few years ago and a little bird we had lol i wont anuther someday or maby one of the blue ones lol ^_^ i love birds ween we get birds thare mostlly big ones O.o

aww! i have two keets and i just got my parrotlet. One of my keets is not tamed, although he used to be. the other is quite tamed and loves to walk around the house with me.

When I was choosing a Parrotlet I didn't really know what color I wanted; but all of the green ones I saw were very bad tempered. And Palmer matches my room. A green one would of matched but like I said I didn't have the best of luck finding a nice one.
