Description so off back to creature nites again. most of these creatures (exept the goatfish and shoegator) are based off of thomas grunfeld's "misfits", a collection of taxidermy hybrids.

anyways, here they are, now with fancy text:

-giraffstrich & okapemu
the girraftrich is the combination of a ostrich, giraffe and horse. like the bimooshire from the first hybrid pets  post, the giraffstrich was made for entertainment, mostly for drive-thru safaris. they have also been used in ridding, as they are easy to train and can run fast and far. these guys, much like the rodavids, lay eggs and the young feed of milk. they are described as "entertaining" as they are social and can be seen playing and chasing eachother. a variant of the giraffstrich is the okapemu, which replaces the giraffe / ostrich parts with an emu and okapi. both nites are common exotic pets, however the okapemus is more common as they have a more calm temperament.

-sauromimids
the sauromimids were meant to be a smaller, less intimidating version of the giraffstrich, so small kids and other people can interact with them in petting zoos. however, due to the smaller size and easy trainability, they made good pets, and have been used for things like therapy, racing, education, ect. they also have a role in animal production, as people will also breed them for eggs, meat, and leather. what also made them good pets where that they would eat practically anything, regardless of the exact hybrid it is.
sauromimids consist of the head, neck and sometimes wings of a bird, the body of some kind of some non-ungulate mammal, and the legs of either an ungulate or a bird. depending on the hybrid and breed they can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. the ones seen here are as follows: pecoock+wallaby+ostrich, swan+nutria+donkey, and pelican+kangaroo+horse.

-hyguins
with the body of a penguin and the head of either a waterfowl or a landfowl, this initially wasn't meant for the public. they were meant to be used for the military, though exactly what for has never been officially released. in any case, the hybrid was a fail for them, since it wasn't very smart nor very trainable. however, it's size was perfect for a family pet. hyguin typically eat anything, but their preferred food are usually things like invertebrates, small animals and aquatic plants. most people who keep them usually have them near their ponds for pest control.
i really couldnt come up with much here. i really cant.

-goatfish
this one here is actually based off a a more well-known hybrid taxidermy (Most likely the first image to pop up when goodling hybrid / chimeria taxidermy).
anyways, the goatsfish was created as part of a demand from people into rouge taxidermy. this was based on one of the more popular taxidermy hybrid, a chimera with the front half of a goat, rear half of a fish, and the wings of a pheasant. when creating the goatfish, the creators made the rear half a sea lion with the scales and features of a fish, a so it made it easier for the animal to maneuver on land. this somewhat unintentionally gave it a tripodal stance, and was surprising just as fast and agile on land as an actual goat.

-shoegator
the shoegator is the indominous rex of this universe. the face of an alligator, the body of a shoebill stork, and the tail of a big cat, it was designed to be a fierce monster used in attractions. however, it isn't super aggressive, as they intentionally made it so it would naturally attack people. however, they did make it so it was trainable, which made it about as intelligent as a dog. this would get the attention of the military, who wanted an animal that would be like the military dogs, but also have the advantage of flight. while the creators declined the offer (for the time being), it has been in consideration as in captivity, shoegators can form bonds with certain people.
