Description ah, yes, everybody's favorite archosaurs and everybody's favorite flying machines, combining into strange reconstructions and strange demo teams.

basically what i did here is that i though to myself "hey, what if dinosaurs had airplane colors and vise-versa?". so i did just that: give the mesozoic creatures aircraft liveries and gave the aircraft's liveries that of the dinosaurs. i specifically went after some of the more colorful and well-known dinosaur reconstructions, and the same for the aircraft as well.

1-baryonyx and a hawker hunter: what really inspired this dumb art exercise. i saw the well-known miss demeanor hunter, a privately-owned demo aircraft. in the end, it really did work out for the baryonyx pretty well. it just feels like a reconstruction you'd see here on DA.
for the aircraft herself, her livery is based off  of Jurassic's world's baryonyx , made by Julius T. Csotonyi (which took WAY TOO LONG TO FIND the artist who made it). she also came out pretty good as well, and actually looks like an real kind of livery you'd see.

2- tyranosaurus and b-52 stratofortress: going strait into videogame territory, the buff's livery is based off of the well-known saurian t-rex, specifically the second version of it's design . thsi was the one that made it's way into the first publicly available version of the game, though now it's probably replaced with a more featherless version thanks to some new evidences that shows t-rex wasn't a fluffy as the feathernazis want them to be (*COUGH* skin impresion *COUGH*).
meanwhile, i gave the t-rex the big belly color scheme , which while not exactly good-looking (IMO), it still fits with the dinosaur, especially because i gave it a generic feathered reconstruction.

3-styracisaurus with chirostenotes and c-130 hercules with a f-18 hornet: if you're knowledgeable on aircraft and demo teams, you can easily guess what livery the dinosaurs stole just by the colors and the presence of these two specific aircraft, but In in short: the blue angel livery is a pretty simplistic when it comes to demo teams. i mean, it's mostly just blue, yellow, and maybe some white as well. so,i added some details to make them stand out a bit.
the chirostenotes, being based off the f-18s they use , has some lighter undertones on the belly and the tail & wings to let it pop out a bit. as for the styacosaurus that's based off of the fat albert c-130 , i gave it some spots on the crest to somewhat mimic the actual cockpit windows of the aircraft. not just that, but the ceratopsian got a nice row of quill-like filaments on it's tail to represent the colorful JATO (jet-assisted takeoff) that some of the early alberts used.
as for the aircraft themselves, the herc itself is based off of the beast of the mesozoic's styracosaurus model , which i really screwed up on with the colors. on the plus side, his f-18 friend, being based of the chirostenotes from walking with dinosaur 3d , actually seemed to fit well with her herc friend (boyfriend? guy friend? idk).

4-tapajara and u-2 dragonlady: while the WWD movie wasnt very good, the original 1999 docu-series was pretty great, especially for it's time since it made the attempt to show dinosaurs as more normal animals rather than these big, feirce monsters that jurrasic park would portray (though still having it's fair share of inaccuracies especially in modern times).
the u-2's livery is based on the tapajara from WWD (sadly i cant find any good-quality images of it, so enjoy  TrefRex's fanart of it , which seems more accurate nowadays). i even decided to use a more later model that had the sensor span to better show the red colors that the pterosaur had in the series.
as for the tapajara themselves, i added some darker purple/blue undertones on the wings and crest, just so it stood out a bit more. i'm not a fan of the colors per say, but i felt like simply having it solid black would work, either.
