Description 2-C was the doctor’s first experiment. When he showed me it I found myself questioning my employers methods and practices for the first time. I cursed and laughed at myself when I found these thoughts beating in my head.

I sold my soul away to work here. I told myself to forget all levels of humanity for the knowledge that I would gain outside of the legal scientific realm. This is the hidden facility were progression is said to be made on a daily basis! In the field of Bio-weapons and genetic engineering there was no one better then “Dr. M.” Yet, when I looked upon 2-C, a sinking, horrible feeling fell into my gut. This pathetic creature, huddling towards the back of the cage, with wires protruding from its’ core. Blood over the walls and the floor; I couldn’t help but question the doctor’s methods.

“Doctor, excuse me if there is a reason behind your method on this specimen, but wouldn’t closing that wound tightly help it retain its’ health. It looks like such a complete-“

The doctor looked at me and chuckled before I could finish my question, “My friend,” His voice was so calm and collected, “ 2-C’s health is in no question. If an experiment can not maintain health in a secure lab on its own, why would I put it in the field where it would also be unable to retain it’s health on its own? This is just part of the process.”

I opened my mouth to say more, but his cold, calculated logic was not flawed.

The second experiment in my small series. This one ended up being extremely frustrating since I could not get the Doctor and speaker to look right in the background. FRUSTRATING. As I have more time to look at it, and get advice from others, i'll change it around.

This doctor better know what he is doing. He better not be biting off more then he can chew. As a head of the Space Pirate Sience Team, I have personally seen what happens when you f*ck around with genetics too much. Two words:

CONTAINMENT BREACH!

Cool composition! I like how you've managed to put some sadness in the experiments face - at least, in my opinion.

I love how you did the perspective here. It's not the viewer looking in on the creature, it's the viewer experiencing the surroundings as the creature does, really adding to the empathy. Wonderful, wonderful detailing here again. Most definitely watching you.

Poor guys. I can just imagine what will happen to them once the experiment inevitably breaks loose.
