As an artist I'm loving this, your paper flower and the way you've caught it (the angle) is very beautiful and creative.
As a fan of literature I have to say that my inner bookworm is screaming in horror. What did you do to that poor book!?

I totally understand where you're coming from. I also love books, I used to work at a library and it was my favorite job being surrounded by books. They way I look at it though is I'm taking books that won't be read anymore and have pages missing from them and giving them new life. I think it's really cool to have someone look at this old book and think of it as something nice and modern. Like it's been given a makeover and being re-appreciated.

This is great cut work. I'm getting ready to graduate with an MFA in painting but all my work is cut paper and one of my favorite artists is Jen Stark you should check her out as well as Jane South.
