I have now completely lost count of the number of characters I've created...and IDGAF, lols.It seemed inevitable that after watching a series as amazing as Legend of Korra I would end up making a character somewhere along the line, and sure enough, I did. I regret nothing!!!
So, this is Inari my LoK oc. In case you didn't guess; she's a Water Tribe gal, and not only is she a mean-ass waterbender, she's the leader of the Red Monsoon triads. She comes from a wealthy highclass family so I wanted her to look like a bit of 'madam'. Don't let the look fool you though; she's about as much a delicate little princess as Azula was (think O-Ren from Kill Bill.)
I'm not even joking when I say that her hair took all damn day to finish! But I'm so happy with the way it turned out...*secretly been wanting to design a character with dreadlocks for ages* I also had tons of fun piecing together an outfit from 1920s speakeasy styles to late Victorian.
I don't really want to post too much about her until the second season comes out, but if you're curious just ask and I shall try and answer.

Haha, thanks. I loved making those tattoos. And yeah, but she's less of a villain and more of an anti-hero. She'll help out Korra and co when it suits her, but only if it benefits her.
Eg. When the Equalists attack Republic City during season 1, she and a group of her best waterbenders help to defend Iroh II's ships from attack, but only because "she doesn't want these Equalists nutcases over-running her city anymore than they do."

nobody like the Equalists xD I think it could be diffcult, when we try to conact our Charas with the Original... could be....anti-heros are the best and cutest (especially the male)

Thank you! And oh yes, she does. She meets Korra and co during season 1 after the Equalists attack Republic City. She meets them for the first (technically the second, she's not loud about being the leader of the Red Monsoons) in the undercity, and a small group of her best waterbenders help defend General Iroh II's fleet from the Equalist's trap when they arrive to help.

That hair, that drapery, those shoes! Wow! You did a killer job on her! I love it. I can seriously believe that hair took all day, but it was totally worth it. It came out spectacularly.

The red one on her shoulder = (my headcanon) emblem of the Red Monsoons
The one running down her back = one that she got done after she left her parents when she was about eighteen. It has the symbol for waterbending incorporated into it because her parents tried to stop her learning to use it since she was a girl (hard core traditionalist Norther Water Tribe family.)

Although, to be honest, I think she might not get along all that well with Lady Sadako Fengxian, the theater's 85-year-old owner. Then again, the fact that Sadako was part of a group that used unlawful and violent means to combat organized crime (like the one in the upcomming film Gangster Squad) about 40 years ago might be a reason why.

Thank you, but what do you mean by Katara's crest? I'm guessing you mean the tattoo on her back; it's the emblem of the Water Tribe, Katara's necklace happened to have the same symbol craved on it.

Yeah for some reason I was thinking the water Nation/Tribe symbol was the correct one but then realized Katara's was the actual symbol for water BENDING
