Description It's a work in progress so far, but I wanted to get some feedback on it before I finish the line art. What do you think? The hands are a little wonky, but they'll get fixed eventually. I'm not so sure about the wings, either. Hmm...

A pretty winter fae blowing (you can't see because it got a little washed out) winter's breath across the land. I think it's really cute.

This looks promising It's a little hard to tell from the lineart, but if the cloth on her arms (the cloth that goes all the way to the hands) Is supposed to be the same for both arms, then it ends too soon on the left arm, or it's too long on the right.
It also looks like she broke her left arm. I think that it's the clothfolds by the elbow that does it.
Her legs are really thin and the feet are very very small. Feet are really troublesome to do I know. I often make them too small myself. Small feet is considered pretty by many though Keep up the good work, and if I confused you, let me know and I'll try to explain it all better

Ahh, you're right about the sleeves there. Especially if the one arm is bent, it should be shorter than the other arm, not longer. I'll fix that up. Her feet ARE small, aren't they? I'll try to fix that up as well. I just have trouble keeping things in proportion like that, especially when I'm drawing on a larger piece of paper (11x14 this time around). I'll try to fix that before I ink.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the ideas!

What I usually do when trying to keep things in proportion is to draw some basic shapes and work after them as much as I can. I try to draw everything with a 2H/ HB / B pencil the first time around, so that I won't damage the paper, then when I'm happy with it I can fill it in with a harder pencil, or maybe in your case, ink it. It looks to me like those feet will suffer some quality-loss because of the erasor marks, but hopefully that isn't the case

I took your suggestions to heart and fixed it up a bit tonight, then inked it! I'm not sure yet if I should digitally paint it or have at it with my markers and pencils, but we'll see. Thank you!

I think it's very good, the dress and hair are really nice, as are the wings. I think the hands are okay, believe me I know the pain of drawing hands all too well, I can never get them right ^^. I see nothing wrong with it though and am looking forward to seeing the finished piece.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. And yes, hands are hard to figure out, though these ones turned out better than most hands I attempt, so I'm glad about that. Darn hands, anyway. They're far too complicated.

Anyway, thanks for the comment ^_^

You're welcome ^^. Cant argue with you there, they are a nightmare to get right, possibly due to the number off positions and angles they can be. I also dont like doing hair cause it just never looks right ^^.
