I drew this during the PotC marathon we all had on my birthday. Saw Stranger Tiiides!!! As expected, I hated "Angelica"--she was way too annoying. (SPOILER) Jack saying he has "Stirrings" was highly amusing, I just with the character they made him have stirrings for was not a bloody mary sue. but alas~! But Barbossa... was awesome. So was Jack. So was GIBBS!!! But no Pintel and Ragetti? That's just sad.
I fell in love with Hector Barbossa all over again. He is just... too fun. I colored him lamely 'cause I could not find a clear ref for his clothing. ANNOYINGGG.
If I were to do one of those character obsession memes, I would have to fill out several. My list of beloved characters keeps expanding as I re watch these movies and remember how much I love these guys.

The "what ARRR you doing!" scene was one of the funniest, especially the death stares they both gave to Pintel after he told them both to shut up! Pintel got too big for his britches for a moment, lol. I miss those too, but it looks like Mullroy and Murtogg took over their role, so it's like they never left!
I hated Angelica too. Jack was right to leave her on that island. Can't trust the woman who would defend Blackbeard after all.
On Stranger Tides wasn't the best in the series, but I did like how Barbossa and Jack teamed up.

Cool picture. I thought Angelica kicked ass. If she was TRULY a Mary sue Jack wouldn't have left her on an island. She and Jack would be sailing the seas on the Black Pearl together

I like to think they quit before things happened because Barbossa implies that everyone dies except for him and the only reason he did survive is because he cut his own leg off.
At least that's what I got out of that conversation between himself and Jack.
Though, I don't think Rags would leave because of the weird relationship him and Barbossa have (I feel like Barbossa and Rags have this weird sort of Father/Son deal, though they aren't actually related). And you know if Rags doesn't leave, neither does Pintel.
In conclusion, I'm pretty sure Black Beard ....ended things for them...

Him and Sparrow are both of my perfectly favorite pirates of all time! Also, I liked Blackbeard as the heartless wretch I was expecting. On Stranger Tides was purely AWESOME!! I don't care what the critics say.

Yeah... Angelica was.......... not right for the story. But the movie on the whole was, well, SEXY! And awesome and I really want to see it again. Barbossa was just too cool, literally. Everyone in the theater started to applaud when he was in his pirate outfit again xD

Oh wow I love it! It's really hard to draw this guy in a cartoonish style without him looking like a different person or a bit off.
However with this, you've made it quite obvious it's him. You did fantastic on the facial features, making it look so much like the actual character and just everything in general is really well done. Nice colors. Pose. etc
