The rumbling sound slowly increased, and suddenly the earthen mound erupted outwards in a shower of dirt and debris. A large dark, saurian shape pulled itself up, threw it's head backwards, and roared. Birds took flight in a hurry to escape the rage of Asylus, The Demon Beast. Asylus looked at a nearby grove of trees, and opened his mouth. Small particles of neon blue energy began to form, swirling around his teeth as they aggregated together. Suddenly a powerful beam fired out of the Demon Beast's mouth. The grove was vaporized in a storm of thermo-nuclear fury as the atomic ray hit it. One thought raced through Asylus's mind as he calmed down slightly: KIRBY! In their last battle, that annoying little pink nuisance had managed to do what many had thought impossible, and beat the Demon Beast. Asylus gave a sinister smile. He might have been beaten in their last encounter, but he would soon show Kirby that no one would ever truly defeat him. And then, the entire universe would quake at the wrath of Asylus...A request for
