Description New portrait.

Mana, guitarist and leader of the band Moi Dix Mois, and previously of the band Malice Mizer. Both have some pretty amazing music

I guess it is necessary to mention that Mana is a guy. If you mistake him for a girl, well, so do most people

Drawn for my brother, who wanted a portrait of Mana to hang on his wall. Because we're both obsessed with the brilliance that is Mana-sama. XD And because I am completely lacking in inspiration these days . . .

I don't know the original site it came from, my brother found it for me.

prismacolor colored pencil on 14 x 17 inch smooth bristol somethingoranother paper.
This took a really long time, I'm going to guess around 40 hours total, but it may be more, or it may be a little less.

Haha, unfortunately it is a guy . . . I just liked the image so I drew it. I will do some more colored pencil work soon ^_^

God I love your style. It's so different from the normal realistic portraits most people've done. It has the vivacity of a cartoon charactor while maintaining the realism and likeness. Great job!!

Yeah, 40 hrs was a light estimate. It would be more accurate to say it took forever -.-

now I need to find something/one else to draw . . . but I need to buy a few more colored pencils, since a few of the essential colors are now stubs.

where would we be without Mana? lol
