According to definitions I found online, in Irish mythology sluagh are the spirits of dead sinners, who attempt to capture other dead souls . . .These two were inspired by that idea, although these are more sidhe or elves than spirits. They're not evil . . . just unwashed.
Watercolors, black ink, salt, white ink and white acrylics. It looks better in real life, my scanner washed out the colors, and trying to fix them in photoshop turned it a little gray.

Very nice, interesting work. ^^ I guess I don't know what the original looked like, but I kinda like it with more muted colors like this. The blue-gray works well for it. Just a small tip on facial proportioning- I think maybe you're drawing your mouths a tiny bit low in the face. Overall, though, really great pic.

Nice use of colors in this one. It focuses with the grey and the blue. Didnt try to kill it with depht.
The little flying things are cute too.
I think if our teacher saw the nose on the upper left one, he'd give you a reprimand. Since hes always stressing to my class how to draw noses XD
I also like the clasp on the one standing up. O_O ::wants one::

Stupid noses . . . I messed up the nose when I was inking it, I decided to put in another line that didn't really make any sense afterwards. O.o
I like those clasps too, I bought one online for my cloak ^^ they are snazzy.
