Apologies for shut eyes... it was bright out this morning and this was the best shot I got of the hair. I let my rainbow fade out as much as I could for the past two months. It left a relatively dark green stain on the bottom half of my hair, so unfortunately I was forced to do the tips in mostly green. But got some streaks of red and left some blonde chunks at the top.So this is my Christmas/holiday hair for the year! And I love it very much.

So I meant to say: To fade out the remainder of the previous shade, have you tried a mild bleach shampoo? I can point you to a helpful blog post about it. I've tried it and it generally works, as long as you haven't totally saturated the hair shaft with the color.
