2006Stretch velvet
Here is my first experiment of the series "clothes for Halloween but not only". It's very stretchy and it's easy to wear without any button or zip fastener.
It took me ages to make the decoration because that (@#$&*) stretch velvet was the hardest thing to sew together with the velvet ribbon (that isn't stretchy)!
Oh well, because it's my first experiment, it's for sale at the special price (for the time needed to make it) of 150€ + shipping.
In US$, it's about 195+shipping).
I will accept the dress back and give a Paypal refund of the cost of the item (not of the shipping cost) if, due to wrong size or other problems, it's sent back unused and undamaged within 7 days from the day you get it.
Out of Italy I strongly reccommend payments with Paypal, they are cheaper in commissions than most of the other available methods!

It's very pretty... How do you go about making them, though? Do you need to make patterns on paper to cut out the cloth? >.>

I make the paper patterns and then use those to cut the fabric.
For now, I only did clothes on request, but now I'm starting to make some clothes on my own designs, to sell through the internet, or to give to shops to sell.

ah, yes, for stretchy things you need a special sewing machine and then it's a piece of cake, at least my friend says so 
nice dress...i have some partially stretchy stuff and my friend was cursing while doing them, but as she was with me when i bought textile, it's not my faualt
i just wish i could have worn my dresses this year

My mother says that the perfect machine for stretchy things is one called "cut-and-sew", which seems to be a great thing for many reasons, because it makes the work much faster, and it finishes it in a more professional way, and is very good with "strange" fabrics (such as stretchy ones). I think I'll try to get one as soon as I have some money around. Here a decently good one costs about 250-300 € or so..

ah, i thought so too, but it's not the one i was talking about. my friend has this can and sew one, but you cant sew on something, you may just attach two stretchi things and cut off the surplus of the material. and it's lots cheaper that the one my friend is searching for. the one she needs costs new 1200 euros, but used may be found for 400 if you're lucky. (i don't know the names of those machines, we use german terms here

don't really know, but i guess they are. she has the powerful industrial machine whish has limited options but can sew much thicker textiles, then the usual one for more delicate stuff and cut-and-sew machine. she will be running a firm soon hopefully (when she gathers enough money to start it) so she will definitely need it. for stretchy stuff.
