Description This is a late teen version of Ron Weasley from HP Books. He was actually based on a friend of mine

In Memorium:

On January 6, 2005, the young man who was the model for this drawing died. His name was Antonio and although I only worked with him for about 8 months, I will always remember his gentleness and his smile. Because he was tall and skinny and had dark red hair, I thought that he would make a good model for teenage Ron. He was a very good sport about posing for photos and even posed with a broom Everytime I see this drawing I am reminded of him and of what we all lost.

this is fantastic, you have a real knack for drawing the characters so that they look like both themselves and actual people, rather than disney-like, overly hot versions (although i very much enjoy the disney-ish versions too). although it makes sense that he looks realistic here since he's drawn from a model antonio sounds lovely, how incredibly sad to have lost him so young RIP. he looked very much like my imaginings of ron, anyway.

haha its true about ron being misunderstood, i think not just as a character by other characters but by the fandom too... so many people condemn him for being selfish or mean or (in dh) cowardly, but i reckon hes the most relatable member of the trio.

wau - this really lookes like I imagen Ron..

And, what a sad story about the model, Antonio. Sad how things just sometimes hapen, and we are left behind with all the memories. In this case, a wonderfull drawing. I drew a picture of my grandmother before she died. I feel so wierd when I look at it now. Sad and happy at the same time. I guess you must feel the same.. I'm sorry for your loss..

On a happier note, I love your drawing! He is very Ronnish. Even tho I LOVE Rupert to pieces (obviously) I pictured Ron to look different. He still is really hot and I'm glad they picked him or I would have never heard of him! Ok I'm rambling. I love your pencil work

This is exactly how I think of Ron. Long face, stubborn chin, hair in the eyes. Strong and intense, but really he's a gentle soul with a good heart. I don't know how you can make all of that come through in a drawing, but somehow you managed. Amazing.

I don't mind at all. He overdosed. Those of us that worked with him think it was accidental and not because he was suicidal or depressed. My journal entry on it is here: [link] if you want to read it.
