Young Severus Snape as a Hogwarts' studentI had drawn James, Sirius and Remus but not their bitter ememy, Severus. So after reading OoP I really felt I should give him a try.

This is my absolute favourite picture of young Snape. It is beautifully drawn and seems (to me at least) rather prophetic when compared to pictures of the young man who was cast in the role in OotP.

Oh he's beautiful. I think of Snape as very beautiful, hooked noses are lovely and very sexy and as for black eyes, he'd have had a chiseled jaw line and hollow cheeks and a long slender neck and elegant hands, those are the beauties I can see in Snape, he only needs to wash his hair , anyone with a tendancy to oily skin and hair needs to wash it daily, says me the owner of sallow olive skin and dark hair that needs washing daily. Its a beautiful picture and a favourite.

I never liked Snape all that much (you're right, OfP does show another side of him) but there is something undeniably appealing about him here. Most likely it's his sadness.
Fun to draw greasy hair may be, but few people find it particularly appealing!

The expression on his face is priceless and fits his personality perfectly as Rowling described it, and I love the way his hair came out! You've captured young Snape exactly the way I always thought he would look as a teen. You're also very, very talented, of course, as I would never be able to do something this good even if I tried!! In all, i'm amazed, and must fave!

I'm just browsing through your art, and I think it's amazing. I saw the adult Snape version, and then looked at this one. And I must say that you have a very good concept of how to add age or youth. You can see the similarities between the two and very easily see the younger picture aging into the older one. I also enjoy the originality of all of your fan work. Since the first movie it has become harder and harder to find fanart that wasn't entirely or mostly drawn from the actors, rather than from descriptions and perceptions from the books.
